Where’s all the gold???
We get “paper money” “legal tender” “cash” which is like….. a coupon for gold. Right?
So if we have all these “coupons” for gold….
where’s all the gold at?

Not since Nixon abolished the gold standard in like 71. There isn’t enough gold to go around. Most of it sits in vaults and some of it is used in circuitry. They still mine gold in some places.
